Privacy

tængo is a travel planner for Norway. Trip searches stay on our servers only long enough to talk to Entur, MET Norway, and (if configured) an AI provider. Saved places and itineraries live in your browser. If you sign in, that library is stored in your Supabase account so it can follow you across devices.

Accounts

Sign-in is optional. Without Supabase keys the app stays in guest mode. With Supabase enabled, email, Google account data, and saved-library data are processed by Supabase (and Google, if you choose Continue with Google). You can keep using the planner as a guest; signing out restores the local guest library for this browser.

Location

If you choose Use my location, coordinates stay in your browser and are sent to Entur only to reverse-geocode a nearby stop and plan a route.

Transport and weather

Route search is sent to Entur. Weather for a destination is requested from MET Norway. We send coordinates, not your name.

AI Guide

Questions you ask the AI Guide are sent to our server. If an OpenRouter API key is configured, the message and trip context are forwarded to that provider. Do not send personal data you would not want a model provider to process.
